We’re taking a BOLD stance on education.

Our Schedule

We’re rethinking what matters in education and cutting through complexity to focus on what matters most—kids and their families.

First Principles thinking is a way of solving problems by going back to the basics to ask, “What do we know for sure?” and building up from there. In education, this means stripping away all the extra noise and assumptions about how things “should” be done and instead focusing on what kids and families truly need.

Our schedule is bold, but it’s not complicated.

It’s designed to put kids and families first.

It’s that simple.

Mon - Thu

9:00 - 12:15 PM

Core education classes are delivered four days per week, for three hours per day. Individual experience varies by the child's age, level, and needs - but this block of time is consistently devoted to helping kids complete foundational lessons that are essential for their learning and development.

Tue / Thu Only

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we have an extended day that lasts until 2:30 PM. The Tue/Thu afternoon classes are all about making learning fun. The afternoon class is centered around a core theme each year, so the activities provide a natural way for students to investigate, explore, and engage with the topics. This time block is basically like an elective course, which features a thematic-based rotation of geography, history, science, music, and art.

12:45 - 2:30 PM

Friday

Fridays are reserved for families to continue learning activities at home or out in the world. Families can use the time to continue learning from the week or pursue other activities, experiences, and/or projects that are uniquely important to their children or families. We help families identify thoughtful arrangements for remote learning days, but we encourage the need for families to define their own priorities.

Remote Learning Day

Life is good. We think learning should be good too.

A New Schedule

Listen to founder, Analyssa Noe, explain the weekly schedule and learn more about why the Academy believes flexibility and time at home with parents is just as important as time in the classroom.

Our schedule is designed to put kids and families first.

It’s that simple.

“My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth… I will utter hidden things, things from of old - things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us.”

— Psalm 78:1-3
